Please let your scouts know which is better for extreme play in Connecticut, Dec. 28 or 29th. We will be opening it up to families ( siblings and parents) also. Camping Jan. 24- 26th, please bring $20 .
Hello everyone. The dreaded registration time is near. With council and national fees going up, we need to increase our registration fee to $200 per scout. Adults are $60 each. It is due January 15th. If there are any problems, see Mrs Chess.
Saturday 10/19 Michael Spanti's Eagle project - Hopewell church 11:00 -300 bring work gloves and flat shovels if you have them. Saturday 10/26 Manzas parking - 9:30-4:30. All scouts and parents are asked to attend. Class b uniforms. Sunday 10/27 - Walker Valley Trunk or Treat. We do such a great job at Manzas, we were asked to help park cars at the Trunk or treat at Vekeederkil. 2:30-8. Trunks need to set up at 2:30-4. Treaters will start at 4:00. We will help park cars for trunks and for treaters. We will get food, and we can go to the trunks. We will be doing a camping themed trunk. So wear your uniform and bring your camp chair. Mr Pedersen is bringing a tent. Mrs Chess will bring the backdrop, the fire and the candy. Feel free to bring anything else (lanterns, rope for knots or any anything else. please rsvp on the calendar section here on the website.
There were 2 items lost this past weekend either at forestburgh or Manzas farm. One was a boy scout pocket knife and the other was a black boyscout sweat shirt. Please look at your scouts gear and see if it got into the wrong pack. Also, there is a camp chair that was left at manzas. If you own it, please let us know.
